Biography..:
Andrea De Biasi was born in Naples, in the 60’S. He attended the school of arts and participated in numerous collective exhibitions, national competitions and art performances, thus gaining success of public and critical approval. He attended several art studios and collaborated with artists of international fame like Ciro Canzanella, Imma Solinas, Federico Alfano, etc; so he was able to improve his personal skills, keeping in touch with an ancient pictorial school on which he based and experimented his pictorial research. As a young and a promising artist, his pictorial research faces different subjects and is based on a careful study of the colour, with attention to the light cuts and the tonalities. In fact his painting embraces an affected style, typical of the Neapolitan tradition, but in a personal and a modern way. So ancients crafts and typical scenes of the Neapolitan folklore give the way to elegant characters placed in an urban context, on the background of careful architectural studies of the nicest Italian and European cities, the squares, the streets and the places, in which he often likes to go, carrying out his paintings from the real life. |
